The idea for Savy came from a challenge Sean regularly saw throughout his career in the financial industry: clients often worked with several qualified professionals, but those professionals were not always communicating with one another.
After working with more than 100 individuals, families, and business owners, Sean noticed that many clients had an investment advisor, CPA, tax preparer, insurance professional, and sometimes an attorney. Each person provided valuable expertise, but the advice was often handled separately.
As a result, clients were frequently responsible for connecting the dots themselves, relaying information, and making sure each professional understood the full picture.
Sean believed financial guidance could be more organized and collaborative. More importantly, he believed great financial advice begins with listening before recommending. Every client has a different definition of success, which is why he takes the time to understand their goals, concerns, and priorities before developing a strategy. His approach is rooted in education, collaboration, and helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Those beliefs became the foundation for Savy—a firm designed to bring greater coordination, clarity, and consistency to the financial planning process.
